Yep yep. Greg sent in a funding proposal to this list asking to
represent the TOS community at Drumbeat, so we're working to make that
happen.

One condition of TOS trip sponsorships is being a bidirectional
communication link for those of us who can't make the event - trip
reports via blogging and/or the list, perhaps a little bit of "oh, can
you please catch this person?" for the community as you can - so we'll
all be there by way of Greg, in a sense.

I'd love to see more people represent TOS at events - especially POSSE
alumni who haven't gone anywhere for TOS before, and the students
they're teaching. (Folks from Worcester State and RIT, I'm looking at
you.) A few things that I'd like to see us represent at:

http://gracehopper.org/2010/ - this starts tomorrow, and I believe a few
people here were already planning on going, so it might be a good chance
to touch base in person - if there's a TOS gathering at Grace Hopper,
save the dinner receipt and write a post to Planet with notes on the
conversation there, and I'll pay for it. ;-)

http://engineerofthefuture.illinois.edu/ - I'll be there. Who wants to
come with me? :D If you have a particularly keen student who's
interested in STEM education, this is a great opportunity for them as well.

Anything else we should be looking at?
