This is kind of a reply to neophyte's mail, and kind of not. Separate thread time!
tl;dr: If you haven't changed how you communicate to this list over the last week, keep it that way. You may have seen messages come through t...@lists.teachingopensource.org -- this was broken configuration and I have fixed that. ---- Turns out, when we moved the lists over here, mailman thought the correct domain for the list was lists.teachingopensource.org, which broke some things (including my mail client's Reply to List feature, because OSUOSL did not set up the list to go through t...@lists.teachingopensource.org). It also sparked a lot of confusion, and broke a lot of mail filters. As of now, *nothing* should be different about the list configuration from what it was when ctyler was hosting it; the only difference should be that it is hosted at a different place now (OSUOSL). If you didn't change your mailing list filters in the last few days, you shouldn't have to change them again. The list has been configured to use the teachingopensource.org domain for email headers and other related things. With respect to some of neophyte's other concerns, it's not in my interest to have a reply-to debate at the moment for these reasons: - We have other infrastructure things I need to take care of (planet, for one thing, which is hopefully getting done today from what I hear in #osuosl). - This is how the mailing list has been configured since day one by ctyler. You can keep up with what's being worked on for TOS infrastructure (mostly through OSUOSL) and get involved at: http://tickets.teachingopensource.org/projects/infrastructure/issues (Let me/the list know if you have issues getting logged in.) Thanks for everybody's patience through this. -- Ian Weller <i...@ianweller.org> _ \/"/_ All Hail the Beefy Miracle! /_/ beefymiracle.org \ \
