Hi all, At POSSE 2011, we began discussing the idea of running a pre/post survey of students engaged in FOSS participation in the classroom. We thought:
1. We should share that thought with everyone on the list, 2. If we want to do that this year (we should), then some of us probably need to get on top of IRB, and 3. We should probably have a questionnaire. I remember Heidi was typing up what looked like a fairly coherent document re: #3. Is there anyone who would be willing to help drive this process forward for a few days, and see if we can't come up with a short (5-8 questions) survey (or surveys) that could be used pre/post to get some initial feedback regarding student experience diving into FOSS in the classroom? (I'm asking if someone wants to drive this forward because I'll be at ICER shortly, and then intend to take a few days of actual vacation-type time, meaning I'll have limited access to the Internets.)
