I just found out that our department is going to have a position open up in the next month or so and it would be really great if we could fill it with someone else interested in open source. If you know of anyone active in the community who is looking for a teaching position at a small four-year school with a strong open-source focus, I'd really appreciate your putting me in touch with them. I imagine some of you are at schools with graduate programs and may know some students who are ABD or recent PhD graduates.
The teaching load is pretty heavy here (4-4), but there is very little research pressure and I have some time (who ever has enough?) for FOSS development despite the teaching load.
