I'm one of the contributors and happy to answer any questions! We'd LOVE to include more material on open source technologies in future versions of the book. For now, our technology offerings are a bit limited, but a good start -- see http://peeragogy.org/resources/technologies/, http://peeragogy.org/forums/, http://peeragogy.org/resources/technologies/wiki/, and http://peeragogy.org/real-time-meetings/ The ideal would be to distribute an OS-on-a-stick with future versions of our book. This would give people the open source tools they need for their peer learning projects -- and we would also provide micro-manuals for these tools in the handbook. I'm thinking of things like Gimp, Mumble, Cinelerra and others. If anyone here is interested in helping with the micro-manuals or the tech aspects, please do get in touch. http://peeragogy.org/resources/how-to-get-involved/ https://plus.google.com/u/0/communities/107386162349686249470 _______________________________________________ tos mailing list tos@teachingopensource.org http://lists.teachingopensource.org/mailman/listinfo/tos
