A slight change as one of my students pointed me to Google which had the
tablets for almost $50 less. Just ordered everything.

So, requesting funds to cover almost all of below:

  *   CCSCNE-2012 student trip (4 students) to conference: $934
  *   Two 7" Nexus Tablets at $199/each: $437
  * One Kinect for Windows: $215
  *   One remote handheld keyboard: $19  ***

New total $1,605...still $5 over (requesting $1,600)

*** This was on my list but unfortunately I was over budget...size of a remote
works flawlessly and with our new labs a good way for students to give
presentations from their tables hooked to our main display
(http://www.amazon.com/Wireless-iPazzPort-Handheld-Keyboard-Touchpad/dp/B0093ITXOE).

I would like to use the $1,600 as follows:

  * Computing Technology program took 4 students to CCSCNE-2012 conference at
Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT in April 2012 for a programming contest and
overall conference participation. First ever programming contest for our
college and we finished 11th.

        Total cost: $934  (lodging $423, conference fees $250, food/travel
$261).

  * Purchase two Google Nexus 7 16GB Tablets for student development at
$247/each.

        Total cost $494.

  * Purchase on Kinect for Windows for student use and work with OpenKinect
project.

        Total cost $215.

Overall cost $1,643, requested total funds: $1,600.
