Hi Folks,

I know that some of you have been wondering what the OpenFE team has been
doing with regards to POSSE. We've been working on enhancing and expanding
the face-to-face workshop with pre- and post- activities. We've got an
outline of what we'd like to do and we want feedback!!!

The description of the plan so far is here:

http://www.xcitegroup.org/foss2serve/index.php/Faculty_Workshop_Planning

We are planning on going live in spring with stage 1 starting around
mid-April and the face-to-face meeting in the first week of June.

Caveats:

1. This is all in very rough draft stage.

2. The text about the model is missing a figure. We'll add it when we
get the right functionality enabled in the wiki.

3. We have the materials for some to many of the activities, but we're
still getting them in order. And yes, much of the content comes from POSSE
material.

4. The stage 1 outline is the most complete. We could use input on
what we're missing in the stage 2 outline.

5. Stage 3 is pretty undefined, but as is expected as the major
activities are community interactions.

6. The current location is temporarily housed in an xcitegroup URL. It
will be moved to the foss2serve URL when that goes live.

We want to know what you think! Especially POSSE alumni. Would this extended
approach be useful? What is missing? Should we reorder things?

All thoughts welcome!

Heidi
