Considering that, if I understand correctly, the content is
licensed to them under the CC BY-SA license, that means
StackExchange has an obligation to use the same license when they
distribute the content to the public. (This is the whole purpose
of “SA” meaning “Share Alike”, you’ll find more information on
Creative Commons’ page for the license¹)

Or, am I missing something?
