The site I was interested in is ampproject.org <https://www.ampproject.org/learn/overview/>.
Upon clicking 'privacy <https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/>' at the bottom of their pages, links to Google's privacy policy: https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/ There is /*no*/ mention of the 'AmpProject' being owned by Google anywhere on the AmpProject that I can find. This, alone, is deceptive. One item I find objectionable in the AmpProject/Google so called privacy policy is: * *Device information <https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/key-terms/#toc-terms-device>* We collect device-specific information <https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/example/device-specific-information.html>(such as your hardware model, operating system version, unique device identifiers <https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/key-terms/#toc-terms-unique-device-id>, and mobile network information including phone number). Google may associate your device identifiers <https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/example/device-identifiers.html>or phone number <https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/example/phone-number.html>with your Google Account. All this information is unnecessary and the linking of it is well beyond intrusive.
