Madness and Dr. Martens join forces for an unforgettable event on 30th
September, 1999!!!

On Thursday, 30th September, Madness and Dr. Martens join together for
two very special events.

To celebrate the bands 20 years in music, Dr. Martens have issued a
special Madness Boot, stamped with the logo of the band who championed
the footwear from the beginning, helping make the ubiquitous DMs an
enduring part of British youth culture.

The band will be at the Doc Martens Covent Garden store at 2pm on
Thursday 30th September, signing copies of their boot and the new Doc
Martens Book. The book celebrates DMs 40 years of association with
youth culture and features Madness, the Cure, Depeche Mode, Morrissey,
Blur, the Manics, Suede and many more.

To celebrate the launch of the book, in the evening of the 30th, Madness
will perform a special abbreviated set at Camdens Electric Ballroom.
Tickets are priced at 10, limited to only two per fan, with half the
ticket price going to the charities Shelter and Big Issue. Tickets are
on sale from Wednesday 15th September, 1999 exclusively at Star Green,

Madness new single Johnny The Horse will be released on Monday 4th
October 1999.

Their new album, Wonderful, is out on October 18th , 1999
