The songs I can think of that would have made good single A-sides:
Stepping Into Line (B-side of My Girl)
Deceives the Eye (Work, Rest & Play)
In the Middle of the Night (OSB)
Close Escape (Absolutely)
Take It or Leave It (Absolutely)
Yeah, that's it, I think. There's some excellent stuff on Rise and Fall
(R&F, Blue Skinned Beast) that I'd like to put, but I'm not sure they
would really be good singles...
BTW, Calling Cards was a B-side in the US (for It Must Be Love).
Doesn't really count, though... It's one of the only two Madness
singles I actually own, though. That and Our House (w/Cardiac Arrest on
the B-side - don't know why, should have been another R&F track as far
as I'm concerned).
