Okay, I know that several of you would love to have copies of the Sonic
Sessions CD that will include, among others, tracks played by Madness on
May 2,1999. These are going to be a challenge to obtain, I'm finding out.
Apparently, the CDs always sell out quickly, and are only available in the
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area. I've been in contact with several people
at the radio station that's handling these and have been trying to get a
bulk deal together for TMMLers. But it is looking bad, as they want to
keep these things 'local,' for residents that actually listen to their
station, or something along those lines.
I continue to try and work out some kind of deal for all of us, but it may
be that the only possible way for us to get them is via someone living in
the actual area. Philly residents - help us out! (I'd drive up and get
them myself, but it's over 5 hours away and I am working two jobs at the
moment!!!)
So here's what I need. A person in Philly that's willing to figure out
what stores the CDs will be in and to buy as many as they can get their
hands on! (Or several people!) I will be glad to take care of things
from then on (mailing them out, figuring out the money, etc). The CDs are
slated for a near-Thanksgiving day release.
Also, I need to know how many people want to buy one. Please reply to
this message if you do, and I'll keep you on a list. Hopefully we can get
one for everyone! ;)
