Hi,
The TMML was well represented for the interview on Virgin Radio tonight,
with Simon R, Simesy, Suggsylia (Not- Suggsi-lee-ah as the bloke kept
saying!), Paul W and myself managed to get e-mailed questions read out. I
managed to get two through, one from my name and one as The Reverend Green.
Being a budding musician (Budding in that we drink Bud), I asked what was
the first part that he thought about when writing a new song. "The Cheque"
Said Suggsy, then talked about how he wasnt a musician and wrote words and
some melodys.
Then i got another one through, and this is the best bit....i asked if
Madness were coming to Scotland....and Suggs said along the lines of--
Definently, Glasgow, and they have offered us Aberdeen--and after that, the
presenter twice read out the places where Madness will hit on the tour, and
twice the list started with Glasgow. Suggs didnt correct him. Could the boys
be coming to my home town??
I will be doing my damndest to try to get more details about this, phone
round some venues in the town etc,
and if I get anything solid, will post to the list, then arrangements can be
made for a Scottish Mad-meet!
