Hiya John, Macca and all in Maddieland,

I would have to side with John on this one. The Suggsly one was fairly
subdued, I thought. A couple of times he managed to answer back to Mark
Lamar but in general he kept pretty quiet. I thought he was perhaps feeling
a tad overshadowed by the larger-than-life "personality" that is Boy
George. For most of the show Lamar seemed to be concentrating on taking the
piss out of Boy George and lovely Lisa (though not as lovely as Faye) from
Steps. A pity because with Suggs and Jo Brand, Sean Maguire (I've suddenly
had a brain death - is that really his name?) had a far more naturally
funny team (IMHO). Although I thought Lisa had the best line when she told
Lamar that Faye had said to tell him she's a lesbian, so that he woud stop
pestering her;-)
Cheers for now,
Peter
