Gentlemen Assassins and Ladies of the night,
Today ( Sunday ) , I telephoned my local Virgin Megastore to enquire
whether they had a copy of " WONDERFUL " for me to purchase.
After several minutes on hold the sales girl returned to say that
they had 9 copies in stock. I then asked her what time they closed ,"
16:30" said the girl ,
"Great" I said , "I`ll be there shortly".
I dived into the motor and proceeded to drive the ten miles to
Birkenhead in my quest to obtain the Madness Fan`s equivalent to The
Holy Grail.
Once in Virgin , I wandered around looking amongst the New Releases
and Madness sections , but to no avail.
I then went up to the sales desk and asked the assistant where I
could find the new Madness album. He looked on the computer and yes ,
there were 9 in stock. Off he went looking for them.
He , like me had no luck. He then asked the store Manager where they
were , and he replied that although they were in stock , he could not
sell me one until Monday as it isn`t released until then.
I then proceeded to have a sense of humor failure.
All this F*****G around after the J.T.H Cock-up is enough to make you
write to your Local M.P.
So there you have it , yet another p****d off customer, Well Done
Virgin !!!
