Hi y'all,
A few mails here have mentioned the shotcomings of Virgin promoting
JTH. This is something I've been meaning to comment on the last few
days.
Basically, Virgins (non) promotion of thesingle stinks. Can you
imagine any other major artist getting this kind of treatment ? I'm
sure the Spice Girls would never be treated in such poor manner.
Virgin's promotion team (or whatever the official term for them is),
deserve a good slap on the wrists. JTH is a great track - although I'm
firmly in the You're Wonderful should be a single camp- and should
at least go top 20. The only promotion for JTH I've heard is the
Capital radion ads, with what sound like Carl on.
JTH doesn't seem to have been really released, it just escaped !
As for Dreaming Man, I think it's Carl singing- although it has a very
Lee Thompson feel to the lyric. Whatever- it's a great vocal
performance, and a super track. Love it.
Changing track a little- a local karaoke
actually had Lovestruck in their book. Couldn't resist it!!
