I must agree after bying the single yesterday that Drip Fed Fred is the
best song on the album. The rest of the songs come a close second. An
excellent album and well worth the wait.

> Hi All,
>
> Well here's my review of the new Madness album "Wonderful"
> So here we go:
> 1)"Lovestruck"
> A classic slice of Madness complete with piano intro and bits of
heavy
> guitar and sax action!
> Great!
> 2)"Johnny The Horse"
> A great song despite some people's comments and the record buying
> public (it's the promtion I tell you).
> Far better than "Lovestruck" it's just a pity it didn't make the top
> 40.
> Shame.
> 3)"The Communicator"
> A great old ska number that sounds like Bad Manners to me.
> Which is no bad thing.
> It's nice to see Carl writing some great songs for the new album.
> One for the whole Madness nation.
> 4)"4am"
> Now people are bound to not like this but I didn't like this before
and
> the new Madness version is better but not one of my fave's.
> Oh God now everyone on the list is going to hate me.
> Sorry!
> 5)"The Wizard"
> Now this is more like it a big brassy number.
> This was my favourite on the "Maddley" and it's even better here.
> I love the "Here kitty, kitty, kitty" part.
> This was my choice for next single until...
> 6)"Drip Fed Fred"
> The best song on the whole album in my humble opinion.
> It's Lee at his best, very funny, with Rev. Green making an
apperance
> as well.
> "Uncle" Ian Dury just caps the whole thing off.
> Madness at their best by just being Madness.
> Absolutely brillant.
> 7)"Going To The Top"
> To be honest this is a bit of a let down.
> Not that it's not a good song just that I was expecting the next
"House
> Of Fun".
> It's still great thought, with it's catchy tune and cool piano
parts.
> 8)"Elysium"
> A complete surprise this one.
> You see I didn't think that I'd like it but it's great.
> The first time you hear it it'll blow you away.
> If this is the next single it should do very well.
> 9)"Saturday Night Sunday Morning"
> A great song with a fab intro.
> And it perfectly describes Madness' comeback.
> "I knew you'd come back we always do"
> 10)"If I Didn't Care"
> A slow number this one and not one of my favourites.
> It does show Madness can play any type of song thought.
> They should have put "You're Wonderful" in it's place instead.
> Oh well.
> 11)"No Money"
> A nice little number form the Woodgate brothers and Lee of course.
> A nice tune to end the album.
>
> Overall I think this album is the best Madness album ever, even better
than
> my favourite "Mad Not Mad".
> A great comeback full of great songs like "The Communicator", "The
Wizard",
> & "Drip Fed Fred".
> Will album 8 ever come about?
> I hope so, even if it take another 14 years to come out!
>
> Well there you go and as before you can take it or leave it!
>
> Mad Thanks,
> Si
>
> P.S. When does "The Lot" come out?
