Hello all,

I, like the rest of us I'm sure, hope that this revival will last longer
than one album and a couple of singles. The lads haven't stated a
length of time that they hope to be around this time, but if it
continues to go the way it has, then I can't see them staying
around for much longer. OK, so Lovestruck went to no.10, which
may have been becasue it was new from the lads, and it was the
first new material since 1986, but as Madness keep going, people
are going to start losing interest, if Radio 1 don't pick up on it, and
especially as they have had virtually no advertising. I saw quite a
few posters around for Lovestruck, and that's perhaps also why it
got to no. 10, but I have seen nothing for Johnny The Horse or
Wonderful, or the Lot, (but you rarely see it for boxsets anyway). It
going to turn into another Suggs. They can only do so many TV
appearances, and with no advertising, they are going to get no-
where in the charts and abandon the whole thing, and then we'll be
left for another fifteen years, and by then perhaps no-one will be
interested. Just some thoughts....
