Hello everyone!
This is Mikel from San
Sebastian (Spain). Although I never write I think I can send one mail every new
Madness CD ;-)
Just a short note to let you all know that
Wonderful is also available in Spain. I could find the CD easily in the SKA
section of a not too big music store. This was surprising as I started looking
in the New Releases section but it wasn't there.
Anyway, a few coments on the CD:
- Wonderful is excellent. Every song has
something. All of them are catchy.
- In my opinion, Drip Fed Fred is the best
song. If they use it for the next single perhaps it should be shortened a
bit, but it is very Madness and I can't stop singing that "we want
Freddy for our leader..."
- I am glad that they recover the ska rhythms
of their early days, which I think is what they like to do: just look at
Crunch! or Suggs or The Madness, which also included a couple of ska-reggae
songs.
- I also like to hear a lot
of sax and keyboards, very Madness as well.
