Hey Now! Just got this little bit from Music 365. Suggs from Madness presented the Classic Songwriter award to Ian Dury and songwriting partner Chaz Jankel. As a tribute Suggs said "I wouldn't be in a band if it wasn't for Ian Dury. As kids we used to climb in through pub toilet windows to see them play". Dury, who guests on the new Madness album 'Wonderful' and is battling with liver cancer, was at the ceremony but delivered his acceptance speech via video, saying that "spontaneity is the watchword, hard work is what makes it happen". He added "There's only one thing that enjoy more than writing songs and that's playing them with the Blockheads". There you have it folks. BTW they are on Irish telly tomorrow night. The Late Late Show is the longets running talk show in the world...38 years. All the Best Vince! ===== "If it ain't Vince, it ain't worth a F*CK!"
