'The Communicator' sounds a lot like a sped-up version of the old '54-46
Was My Number' by Toots & the Maytals. (Especially the bassline.) Other
groups have done variations of it too - like Bad Manners, whom someone
mentioned 'The Communicator' being reminiscent of.....
