Hello all in Maddieland, Things have been quiet over the weekend. Well it was a mournful time up here in Scotland, but I can reveal that there was method behind the apparent madness of the Scotland football manager, Craig Brown. Scotland's truly abysmal second half performance on Saturday when they should have been going all-out to retrieve a two goal deficit against a distinctly unimpressive England side was all part of a grand plan to let the Madness song, "You're Wonderful" finally see the light of day and be recognised as the absolutely brilliant song it is. You see Scotland bent over and allowed themselves to be shafted in the knowledge that now Madness can submit the song to the English FA to be used as the official England song for the Euro 200 tournament. And it will take over the world as a footy anthem to be sung by fans everywhere. Fans from all over Europe can take this simple message and translate it into their own language. Obviously us in Scotland will have to alter the words slightly to "You're nae too bad, it's awright tae see ye". Meanwhile the English will leave it as is.
