hi all
just a little update on my finding on the cancellation of the dublin gig
according to the girl in hmv on saturday, she was very surprised the gig
was cancelled as the tickets were doing quiet well.
i can only imagine that it comes down to finance
the point depot is dublin premier venue(eg the mtv music awards)
so they would have had to pay total dollar for it, and if they didn't sell
it
out they would be in the red, also to note the irish pound is doing as bad
as it has against the gb pound for the 17 years.
so with the ticket prices at 22.50 and 20.50 iep if they were to exchange
that in a bank they would only get 15/16.00 gbpounds back for it.
not good financial sense really.
also with chas smash's family mostly irish im sure he of all people would
have liked to do dublin.
and finally
a maddie is not for xmas , IT'S FOR LIFE!!!!!!!!
