Welcome back, Mike. I see that you're writing from year 2028.... do tell
us how the future is. hehe I guess that would put the band near their
70s. Are they still kicking? Have they renamed London Bridge after
Cathal? ;)
RE: Dublin cancellation - I think Peter White probably summed up the
situation.... I honestly don't think the band meant to let anyone down
with this - it could just be a simple matter of money. Certainly no one
could expect them to do a show that would be financially devastating.
There could be other reasons for it as well. The good news is that most
of you in Dublin who were planning on going are able to make it to at
least one of the other shows.
Speaking of which, has anyone found themselves with a spare ticket to
Wembley 22nd?? My sister, whom I'll be travelling with, has decided that
after the Camden walk and meeting you all, she'll want to be a part of the
fun that evening. I'll be glad to pay for it in pounds and loads and
loads of cigarettes from good old Richmond, Virginia! hehehe
Also, a high-five to Jeff Young for his recent post about all the
complaints. I couldn't agree more.
STOP WHINING, LET'S DANCE!!!
:)
