Good evening to everybody on the list.
I've joint the list a few months ago and really enjoy reading
all the latest news on the Maddest band on earth.
I'm a big fan since the early days of 1980 and have been to to
many concerts over the last 20 ( Oh my god I'm getting Old ) years.
Now Friday evening I was watching a Dutch television show
called Paul the Leeuw and I almost fell out of my chair when Madness entered the
studio and played Lovestruck live. It's the first time in many years I've seen
them perform on a Dutch television show.
The only one missing was Carl, the rest of the band were all
there. There was no interview afterwards and they just left. Now from the past I
know that they might be in Holland to do a tryout for the tour starting next
week. I remember they did so before the first Madstock concert in 1992, when
they played at the Paard in Den Haag a few days earlier. I'm still sick of
travelling to London a day to soon because I also could have seen the boys in
Holland before the big one at Finsbury.
I've tried to find out if there was a tryout somewhere today
but noone at the main concerthalls knew anything about Madness doing a show. If
I find out if they did do a tryout overhere I will mail it to the
list.
just five more days to Brighton allready packing my
