Hey gang!
Hope you are all well! i mailed to tell you about the
Brighton gig, it was AMAZING!!!! my very first Nutty Boys concert, and i
loved it.
We (me and a friend) arrived at around 7pm and we went practically
straight in we had standing tickets so we went to the front (which was
quite empty.....not for long though =0) ) we waited for a while when all
of a sudden a bloke entered the door we came through., i could've sworn
it was Phill Jupitus, but i couldn't be sure, well not until he walked
right past us and it WAS Phill!! anyhoo we just waited again until
around half past, when Phill came on and introduced the Ska D.Js and i
have to say i really enjoyed the d.j-ing brilliant music, after them it
was Phill, the poor bloke was heckled so badly, i felt so sorry for
him.... but i needn't have been he knew exactly how to stick up for
himself ;o) he did his Chubaka impression, then made us all do it as
well! then he got this bloke up on stage to sing this Beetles kareoke cd
he'd bought, he sung 'Yellow Submarine' *hilarious* then it was a kids
turn a thirteen year old, he got up and sang 'Penny Lane' they both got
a fiver....worth a go, but i wasn't picked! Phill left the stage at
about quarter to nine the guys weren't due on til nine, so we had to
wait again....... then finally at nine they came on stage!!!!!! my god,
it was.......... well amazing what else can i say?! Suggs kept saying
that the only reason Mike had a massive stuchture infront of him was
because he wasn't wearing trousers! heehee......... they did all the
classics and most of the new songs..... i'll leave all the details to
everyone else..... they left the stage at around half past nine after
two encores.
After leaving the auditorium i went to get a program (which was all
i could afford) they're �7 i'm very sorry but i can't remember how much
the T-shirts were, all i can remember is they were around �13 something
like that, seeing as i only had a tenner to take i could only look, the
fleeces were lovely!!
I'm really down that i didn't see any of you guys who came, but i
did look out for you but i don't really know what you look like ( i've
only seen the pics in the 'Members gallery') but i'm sure you all had a
great time as well didn't you!?!?! it would've been lovely to meet you
but hey, next time! (whenever that is).

If you haven't been to your gig yet....... have fun!!!!!!! (not that you
have a choice with Madness =0) )
