Good evening chaps and indeed girls... Hopefully things have calmed down now, although anyone looking for my web-site might want to wait until the new year, seeing as i was forced to take it off-line by my old school.B'stards. Anyway, time for me to tell all about the day we went to wembley...... On the sleeper on the way down, we head straight to the bar/lounge for a wee refreshment. Hi-jacking a table withan ex-con ex-army type guy, we managed to empty our half of the lounge, through no fault of our own, my guess is that they got suddenly tired. Or something. Remind me never to order an Oringina in the company of craig again. Still things got funnier when MrG went to use the star-trek style toilet, only to find that it actually wasnt a toilet afterall. So after staggering through the passage way to our cabin with tears in our eyes we headed off to bed. I feel sorry for the poor guy in the bed above me, he was awaken by the noise of some mad fiend banging on the wall shouting something like, 'leave that poor boy alone!!!' So getting into London we had a minor flap trying to get Proof for the tickets we were to pick up. So after a treck to threadneedle street, we ended up in the DC slightly later than planned. It felt like just a week or so since i last saw big Joe and his affectionate sweaty sock cry. Oh how I laughed. yet again it was great to see all the gang,Jenny and sis, those who were at newcastle as well and Simesy, On the beat pete, Fiona, Deanna and the big man, and the others who I didnt get a chance to chat with. It was also great to see Andrew again too, see you all at Modstock 5!! So out of the DC, Bru in hand, and , eventually, into the Good mixer. I wont mention how we all got thrown out of Holts.............. Anyway, Good mixer it was, and we all had a laugh (at my expense mostly). That was a nice pub, the people were great, the view was even better. (yes Rob W, you guessed it!!!)Oh and Rob mate, i remember saying that in o'neils, but I'm sure i said "She 'should' get 'Irn-Bru'" Of course... After a very brief hello to Suggsylia (more than at the last madmeet eh?!), we were off to wemberlee for our tix. After getting through the lovely london transport tube system, of which i hold on the highest regard (and two fingers, raised high) we were well on our way. Yet again a blinding gig, and yet again another girl after my hat. So I succumbed, for a reason which i don't know but I'm sure The two Petes, Rob W, Mr.G etc could easily have a guess at, and spent the whole gig hatless. It was great to see the boys giving it their all on stage, touching to see Carl and Lee, and thought Chrissy boy look dapper in his workies jacket! What a wonder 'Saturday night Sunday morning' is live, confirming my opinion of Barson being a master keyboardist, and also to see Chas pick up his trumpet again. I can't really say much more about the gig itself as its all been said before! So now i would like to wish all the list members, old and new, a very merry christmas and a happy new year! Speak to you all again soon, Stoo P.S, after the two gigs, The official count of 'Old ladies offended' stands at 4. - ______________________________________________________________ Visit the Total Madness Mailing List website for: latest news, madmeet info, list charter, games, and more ... http://members.xoom.com/totalmadmail/ Contact the TMML Moderators at: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe, send an e-mail to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] and in the message body put: unsubscribe total-madness
