More talk about the Madness DMs, huh? Glad to hear it, as I am on the
waiting list to get my pair. They need 24 orders to get them into the
Covent Garden store in London. You can order via phone/mail too. Below
is the info.......

Also, I was wondering if anyone can tell me which recent Madness shows
were complete sellouts - I believe the Wembley 23rd one was... which else?

Subject: [total-madness] Madness Doc Martens

Hi everyone!

While in the UK, I had the opportunity to visit the Covent Garden Doc
Martens store that I'd heard so much about onlist. What a fabulous place
- almost like a museum in there!

After paying homage to the Madness display (hehe) I inquired about
ordering my own pair. Apparently, they don't order a lot of them until
they have confirmed that 24 people are willing to buy. I signed up and
was number 13. Since some of you I spoke with were interested in ordering
too, here is the information....

Just send your name, DM shoe size, color (cherry red or black), and
contact information (including e-mail) to:

Dr Martens Dept Store Ltd
1-4 King St, Covent Garden, London WC2E 8HN
Tel: 0207 497 1460 Fax: 0207 379 1460

Don't forget to tell them it's the Madness boot you're after!
If you need help with converting the shoe size or anything, drop me a
line.

Wishing you all a very deviant New Year.... ;)
Jenny
