Hello to everyone in Virtual Maddieland,
What a busy weekend you've all had! The mighty Rob W. has inspired us all,
and I think we could really help the single a lot with this campaign. It
all sounds fantastic and I especially like Simesy's idea of printing out
loads of small fliers to leave around the pubs. All these bits of paper
with "VOTE FOR FRED" will really get folk curious. Classic subliminal (of a
very blatant kind) advertising;-) Hopefully, when they hear the song,
everything will then click into place!
The Scots are planning a meet-up on the weekend before the 14th (if that
remains the release date!), which I'm sure I can get down to lads! What are
the chances of getting T-shirts made??? Revive the old "Frankie says...",
only make it "Madness says..." on one side and "VOTE FOR FRED" on the
other! How feasible is this? Or even get three T-shirts, one with "VOTE",
one with "FOR", and one with "FRED" and make sure the wearers are standing
next to each other in the pubs;-) The possibilities are beginningless!
