while we're on this campaign thing
my brains been doing over time.
(it's just an idea but I was also thinking that maybe we could also complain
about the poor
promotion at the same time?) .
anyway,here's my plan
we all meet all over the country on the weekend of the release of ddf .
.(if possible someone could knock up some VOTE FOR FRED! placards)
& do a madmarch though your town city centre,holding you placards high and
handing out
Mr simeys leaflets(I'm sure he'll mail you some if you ask nicely).
& for those in or near London.
meet in Camden at the dc.(with said VOTE FOR FRED! placards)
we then do a madmarch with placards handing out those same leaflets.
this is where we get to say our peace.
we could also send out press releases about all our demo's to ever tv &
radio stations
in the country a few day's before hand.mentioning that we didn't appreciate
the way the
last single was promoted & we felt that it was up to us "the fans" to do the
record company's
job & it would be the first time ever ( i think) that the fans have done the
promotion for a band single
not the record company.
if there is anyone out there who is in contact with the band
I think that this might also make a good part of the video for ddf
(imagine having thousands of unpaid extras).
if you are please let them know & get back too me off list.
