Re - Tracey Ullman & My Guy - I've got that single !! It was released in
1984 on Stiff & the only "stunt" was that Neil Kinnock,who was leader of the
labour party at the time, appeared in the video. If I remember correctly,
I'm sure Madness were invited to play on it with her but they declined
(although I think Woody and/or Bedders might have played). I can provide a
recording of it no problem if you want....let me know.
also re - Mcmadstunt - I presume your talking about the "fredmeet" planned
for Saturday 12th Feb......It's gonna be a good one....I think the general
plan is for us to meet up in Glasgow where we will be sampling the alcoholic
beveridges in some of the city's finest drinking establishments & also we
will be hitting the streets & doing our bit for Fred by handing out flyers
(lots of 'em by the sounds of it). Also there are posters available (a la
Simesy) for stickin' anywhere you want in the days running up to the 12th.
(Simesy's running a competition to see who can stick one in the strangest
place - pix reqd.). Radio stations are to be phoned & record
shops....etc...etc
