Hello all,
I got a little postcard with Vote for fred through the post
the other day 2. I totally agree on how hard it is trying to find DFF CD2. I
finally found my copy when I was on a school trip, and I managed to persuade my
friend to buy a copy 2!!! I was very annopyed though, as they only seemed to
have about 6 copies of both CD's in total!!(this was in HMV, in our price they
had 4!!!)
Has anyone actually heard ANY radio station play
DFF at all. I certainly haven't, but a while back I heard radio 2 playing
Elysium, but they didn't seem to know that it was with DFF as they didn't
mention it once. They also gave the wrong release date, and when giving it marks
out of 10, one person gave it 5, one gave it 6 and one gave it 7. Personally I
thought that this was very rude indeed......and after saying all this bad stuff
about the Maddies, they then went on to say how much they respected and admired
Suggs...... what a cheek!!
Does anyone know what is going to happen to Madness
after DFF. Are they going to release another single off the album or what?? I
personally think that they should release (if they can get permission) their
version of Money Money Money that they performed on Abbamania in November. My
idea is that the radio stations will then advertise this lots as it is an old
ABBA classic, and it will get lots of airplay so lots of people will buy it and
then they will be back into the swing of Madness and then they can release some
of their own stuff instead of covers. Well its an idea
anyway.................
One other Madness thing that I noticed the other
day, somebody I know sent me a chain letter (by email) and it had the following
included on it:
Yesterday was history, Tommorrow is a mystery,
Today is a gift, thats why we call it the present.
Perhaps thats what they should release
next......
Thats something to think about anyway.
Write more soon,
Mad Tasha Woman
Proud to be MAD!!
