Easter looks good......might give me time to save up!
On a slightly different note I hear from Charlee ( a few of you will
remember her from the last two meets) that, while chatting to Chas on AIM,
he told her that on Sunday night, he played 5 songs solo on acoustic in a
club...nervous though he was, he reckons it went down well.
Also, in that paper the Metro, an interview with Phil Jupitus revealed his
two biggest nightmares while on stage were a) In Glasgow ages ago when he
died on his arse and some unsavoury carachters in the front row started
telling him what they were going to do to him once the jumped him after the
show...and b) "I was booked by Madness- they really like me- but the thing
4000 skinheads dont want before a Madness show is a stand-up"
All fairness to the bigman though, i was right in front of him during the
TFI performance and he was spot on not only during the Fred and Reverend
Greene parts, but during the chorus too.
