Hi Matthias and all you Maddies,

This is a brilliant idea. I was discussing this at work with a non-Madness
fan and we came to the conclusion that Madness really should do the
festival circuit this year. This would let them play before thousands of
folk who haven't heard the new album (and probably don't realise it's out
there). And I think Madness are popular enough for their old stuff for
people to stay and enjoy them, and not disappear into a tent somewhere.
Then hit them with a load of the new songs and people might start asking
questions about how they can get a hold of these gems! I think this would
be of more use to the band in the grand scheme of things than another
Madstock. And there aren't that many big bands around just now ready to
play the festivals so Madness could find themselves well up the billing.

So get voting everyone. And also, if anyone has any influence with the band
at all, how about suggesting to them to put their name forward to the
various festival organisers. I'd love to see them at T In The Park this year.

Cheers,
Peter
