Another thing that must be remembered is the fact that, unfortunately, witty
lyrics and a good 'dance' beat don't mix with the modern hits of the day.
Very few bands can claim this and those that can have Maddies in among
them!!! As a modern day teenager it pains me to say that most of my
generation haven't a clue about music and what makes the music and the
band/performers behind them great and when you look at the muck in the
charts you realise that it is going-on-30 yr olds re-releasing the best
songs from the likes of ABBA and the BeeGees and Queen and this is denying
the youth of today of the privalige of hearing and loving the original
versions....a prime example is Madonna's American Pie....She may be the
Queen of Pop but LEAVE THE SONG ALONE!!!!! It is also polluting their minds
with the garbage of bands like Steps (or Staircase as they are affectionally
known as) and the Spice Girls as well as Aqua and Eiffel 65... they may have
a few catchy tunes but this does not give them the right to claim the rulers
of the world crown never mind the music world!!!!
My friend shave a good suggestion coz they too, while not
Maddies, have bands they love not featuring in the charts thanks to this
manufactured bands crap that passes as music. The music industry show have a
seperate chart for those bands not compiled by the different management
agencies trying to pass a quick buck .

I'd like to hear some feedback on this suggestion coz then maybe we might
inform the Industry of what we want..
                               PROPER CHARTS FOR PROPER MUSIC!!!!!

                             Maggie
