With regard to this theory that "who cares how
badly the single has done, let's just enjoy it" one
thing has been forgotten. Success guarantees a follow
up album. Didn't Suggs say recently that "we'll write
new material later in the year, and see if there's any
interest?" And Virgin will hardly subsidise another
flop. As they told Lee when he brought some Crunch!
demos along to them in October "Great tracks mate, but
we're only interested in safe bets".
