Here here, Ruza! I feel the same! We have our band back, we should all
be ecstatic!! ;) Sure, some things aren't exactly as they should be,
but can you believe the past couple of months?? TMMLers in Madness videos,
meeting band members...... some of us can even say Chas Smash bought us a
pint! It's all astounding to me.
And it's not over - we have a possible Madstock V coming up, possible US
concert dates and Madmeets and a US album release. Possibly even more
later in the year.
Some of the points Vince C. made hold true in the UK, but not in the US.
(About Suggs, the clean break, etc.) As far as the general American
public goes, Madness has been in a cocoon since 1983 or so. hehe I think
they'll be well-received, especially if songs like The Communicator,
Lovestruck, etc. are released as singles.
Another note - Chris Tarrant of Capital FM and host of the British
show that inspired "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" will be on Regis &
Kathie Lee Monday, 9am EST.
