I think I have found a company worse that Virgin. You may find it hard to believe but its ture. I agree with your views about Virgin not being able to do there job i.e. promotion. But I think Burgerking are ten times worse. I was driving home on Sunday after sending the weekend with my girlfriend who's at uni at Northampton. I'd just left Northampton town centre and I decided that I fancied a BK Double bacon cheeseburger, but without the cheese. There is a burgerking in Northampton but it ment doubling back on myself so I decided to go to the one at the A14/A45 junction (approx 20 miles from N'hampton). The closer I got the more hungarier I felt so I dumped my car in the car park and ran into burgerking. I decised to have a mineral water with my double bacon cheese burger but without the cheese. After a few minutes I placed my order to this spotty 17 year old. He first said that they had run out of mineral water would I like another drink I said I'd have a coke insteed. He shouted to the bloke who was cooking who shouted back saying they'd rand out of burgers. This took a few minutes to sink in. I asked for my money back (yes he had already took that) and stopped at the petrol station and got a twix insteed. I am thinking about taking legal action against burgerking under the trades descripions act. How can they call themselfs burgerking when 1 they have no burgers and 2 king implies that they are the best at there trade, selling burgers. I rest my case your honour. I'm sorry if somepeople feel that this has nothing to do with Madness but it just shows that you can't trust any of these big companies. Has this or anything else happened to anybody else? I have added Burgerking to my black list. so far it includes, Virgin - how dare they charge �3.49 for DFF Tesco's - because they have stopped selling HP's Baked beans with black pudding BT - I got last quarters telephone bill last week. I have never seen so many 0's My local village shop - The bloke in there is always smiles after you brought something, what do he know that I don't.
