I would just like to say that Ian Dury was an inspiration to so many people.
I myself have lost someone close to me in the last couple of years to this
terrible disease and Ian was someone that I drew a lot of strength from.
When told that he had 8 months to live, he could have sat back and let death
catch him up, but instead he did his best for the charities close to his
heart and helped others understanding of this disease. The only sad thing is
that his two little boys will grow up without their Dad, but they will come
to realise what a hero he was.
Ian Dury will be sadly missed, but he gave cancer victims and their friends
and families 'reasons to be cheerful'.
Gone but Never forgotten
God bless
Nutty Bex
