I, like most people was upset to hear of the death of Ian Dury. Its moments like this that make you think what a shit world we live in. If people who have given so much to so many people die as young as Ian and complete and utter bastards live a long life by only taking. I have looked up to Ian not only for his musical and lyriscal skills but how he has lived his life. It seems that all his life it has been an up hill struggle but it has seemed to make him stronger. My Dad is also terminally ill with cancer and when we found out that he didn't have long to live I felt like my world had ended but seeing what Ian had achieved made me realise that life goes on and I try and make his life as enjoyable as possible. It must be hard for his family and friends at the moment but I'm sure that if all these messages of support was sent to Ians wife and children it may help them though a difficult time in there life. I think the best way we can pay our respects to Ian is to listern to and enjoy his music.
