Hey all,
I think it would be a great idea if Madness, Wilko Johnson (once a Blockhead and now a
successful musician in the Wilko Johnson band), Chaz Jankel and others should get
together
and do a concert in memory of Ian Dury, or what better still, that the artists
sing/cover his
songs.
I believe there was a concert like this previously when Freddie Mercury died. Of
course, all
the profits would go to a charity such as CancerBACUP or UNICEF. It could be held at
Finsbury Park instead of the usual Madstock, I think it would be a great idea. I MAY
suggest it to the Smash, but I want to know what the rest of you think,
