So much of what I wanted to say has already been said a lot better than I could ever hope to say it. Mr Dury was obviously a hero to a lot more people than I ever realised,I loved everything about him from the first time I heard "Wake up,etc" on John Peel's show. Ian Dury was everything a"Pop Star" shouldn't be but he was all the better for it,his humour,his courage,the fact he didn't seem to give a shit what anyone thought of him.
