Couldn't agree less! The idea of putting all these songs onto a couple
of albums would, IMHO, be a bad thing. For a start it would mean that
many of the other tracks would never have been released.

Also, the individual off shoots do have their own identity. I mean,
I'd love to hear Madness versions of Magic Carpet, Camden Town and
others, but some songs probably wouldn't work as well in the Madness
format. For instance I can't really imagine a Madness version of It's
OK I'm A Policeman.

As for 4 "average" albums, I think they're far better than that.
Wonderful is one of their best efforts, and TPC and Crunch are really
great too. I like Lone Ranger a little less than those, but in my mind
it's still better than average.

As for Carl's solo project, good luck to him, it's way overdue. Does
the name Velvet Ghost have any meaning? Am I missing something on
that title?
