Yo!

St Patrick was famous for travelling to Ireland in order to preach the gospel. He was
born in Wales in about AD 385, and was sold into slavery in Ireland. He escaped, but
he returned to Ireland to evangelise.
Weird really, the Patron Saint of Ireland was born in Wales, and St George never even
came to England.

That wasn't anything to do with Madness, I know, but I thought since people were
asking...

I have "I Am", and I have the poster. I must be one of the only people in the world
who actually saw that film! It needed Suggs at the end to cheer you up! That CD cost
me 1.99 in HMV all that time ago... The
poster's bigger than A4, and blue. It has Sean Connery (evil weather guy) in the
background, and Ralph Fiennes (with bowler hat and umbrella) standing sort of profile
in the middle, wich Uma standing to the left in her rubber suit. And under that (in
yellow writing) it says: "She's Peel. He's Steed. Their world is a dangerous place.
And they love it." Then it says "The Avengers", in a white futuristic font. Then it
has the cast, then it says, "Saving the World in Style". It's not all that great, but
it was free! So woo-hoo! Whoever cast Uma as Mrs Peel needs their head examined.
"Randall and Hopkirk" showed us how women
like her should be. I reckon someone just liked how she looked in those costumes! ;-)

I rambled a lot there, didn't I? I have "I'm Only Sleeping" with the photocards too.
But I've rambled on enough.

I bought the Suggs Christmas EP at a Boot Sale Monday for 50p. That version of
"Alright" is funny! Somehow the words don't sound right coming from him. *grin*

P.S. This week I are been mostly listening to: The Randall and Hopkirk soundtrack.
