If my memory serves me (and it often doesn't), the Madness "M" was used for
the MTV "M" in the early days of MTV. Perhaps someone out there can confirm
or correct this memory of mine. If this is the case, I don't see how
Madness can be excluded from this VH1 special, *especially* if it's an
American production.
I can't even remember which e-mail address I used to subscribe to this list,
so I hope this post goes through!
