I saw this list for the first time today (quick of the mark as usual!)

I was pleased to see the Specials album in there, so at least there is
some taste being shown.

As was pointed out by someone else, Madness always were considered a
singles band, despite the strengths of there albums. 

I think this is just because they had so many hits, they kind of got
tarred with that, and reviewers didn't seem to give their albums a
chance. If an album didn't have 12 My Girl  clones they weren't too
interested. Of course Madness always developed their music, and
the albums usually contained stuff that was a little deeper than some
of the singles were first perceived to be.

Nice to see Costellos Armed Forces recognised though. Don't have the
list in front of me now, but was Ian Dury's New Boots And Panties not
listed??
