In Stateside Madness news, I recently and finally obtained my driver's license. Yes, I'm 32 but I'd never needed one until now and it was never worth the hassle. Well, yesterday proved to be the culmination of an already bad weekend as I had a fender bender with of all things a lamppost (just like the ones straight ou tof the Lovestruck video no less). It was a simple brake to gas pedal slip and after that it was all a blur. Let me just say that a '96 Chevy Blazer can flatten one of those babies in 5 seconds with nary a scratch to the Blazer whatsoever. I was pretty stunned for a good long while that I did something so idiotic in my own parking lot, considering how well the driving had been going, but on the up side, I didn't do my or any other car damage and didn't hurt myself or anyone else, so I suppose it could've been a lot worse.
