I think it's time I revealed my age, my favourite
football team and, ah no seriously Scatty asked me to
put together a video for the Dublin Castle so that it
can be played from 12a.m. to 1.30p.m. on the 16th.
Anyway, if you're in the castle, here's what you'll be
looking at. I've mainly tried to put on rare footage
as most of you will have big video collections already

1. Magic Carpet video by Crunch! This was never sold.
It was only given to family, friends and stalkers!
2. Lola - Madstock 1994
3. The Tube - Ghost Train
4. Fun in the sun. Suggs chatting and then singing
"I'm only sleeping" on the beach in Spain.
5. MTV interview in Holland the week before Madstock
1992.
6. Friday night live - The Madness perform "I
pronounce you" and "Beat The Bride"
7. Madstock album tv ad - if you've never seen this
I'd turn up just to watch it. Brilliant!
8. World of whiskey sketch - Suggs punching Danny
Baker as a prize for winning a drinking contest the
same night he appeared on "Don't Forget Your
Toothbrush".
9. The Harder They Come promo video
10. Off on holiday video - time to cringe, time to go
to the bar, time to ask the fan beside you "What was
he thinking?". Oh yes, an �800 video as if he didn't
waste enough money on recording his worst solo track.
11. Kelly 1996 - A great interview with Suggs on this
Northern Ireland chat show. Quite funny. Even Suggs
talks about Madonna fancying him. Ends off with an
acoustic version of "It Must be Love".
12."Los Palmas 7" on top of the pops
13.The Sekonda tv ads for all those who regret not
recording them back in 1992.
14. The Colgate ad from 1983. Incredible!!
15. Cardiac Arrest on Top Of The Pops. Along with the
Kenny Everett performance of this track, possibly
Madness's mopst energetic tv performance ever.
16. Littlejohn - Crunch! performing a slow version of
"One Step Beyond", "Tap dancing" and "Magic Carpet" on
tv.
17.Baggy Trousers on TOTP. Suggs looking great with
his crombie, scarf and bowler.
18. Carl and Suggs introducing the 1993 Brit awards
and then starting off the evening's proceedings with
Nightboat To Cairo.
19. Rare black and white footage of Madness performing
"Tomorrow's Just Another Day" with Elvis Costello.
20. Prince Buster performs "Madness" with the boys in
1992.
21. Beatbox - Carl does an interview in Ireland in
1993 in the lead up to the Feile festival.
22. Late Late Show - November 1999 with the boys
performing "Johnny The Horse".
23. 2TV - Suggs does a solo interview in October 1995.
The video will also be a prize in the auction. See you
all there.
