Well first of all, isnt your whining the same thing, just more lines? This
post is just as "off topic" as the ones of fans who wish to know each other.
. .silly, you have to remember that there ARE new people who ARE curious
about the other people, and things like this happen. (I know I run two
mailing lists now, I ran a huge one for a long time before passing it on.)
Secondly, if you aren't part of the solution, you are part of the problem.
Instead of trying to make a worthwhile contribution to the list, and drawing
attention AWAY from the oneliner problem, you are merely expanding on the
thread which probably would have died a natural death on its own.
Now, as for the mods, maybe those who havent been spoken to should consider
themselves lucky. I left about a year or so ago because some psycho mod on
this list made a point of harrassing me so much on ICQ that I was tempted to
report her to her ISP if one of the other mods didnt beg me not to. (The
same mod that also picked my brain for ideas on how to "overthrow" some of
the others and force them out. . .interesting.)
I came back because I am trying to plan my vacation, and originally wanted
to go to Madstock, but since that looks like a no-go, I thought I would
come back on and see if there were other shows I could go to.
I see its the same ole, same ole, and I think I will stick to phoning
friends up for information. Who needs this.
And this isnt directed to just you, Paul, this is for those who ARE clueless
about Netiquette, and send the one liners (at least give us more to go on,
so we can get to REALLY know you, and ENJOY the mail), and for those who
just whine and whine about them, instead of taking matters into their own
hands and starting their own conversation.
It's been a real slice, but since I rejoined, there seems to be no purpose
to this list at all.
Ciao.
Ann Marie
P. S. I still want to meet up with people in NYC if there is a meet. . .oh,
and I am 31 years old, so there! ;-)
