Gazza (is that okay?),
"My mum's roses" has appeared recently on the bootleg
"first step behind" compilation. Basically, Carl had a
band management business in a rented premises in
Camden called "The Quiet Man" and some demos were left
behind. Some geezer has put them together onto a cd.
It's Carl who wrote and sang the song about stealing
his mother's roses!! Sounds a bit like a punked up
version of "Deceives the eye" so I reckon it's from
about 1980 - 81.
And that's yer lot.......
